Group EMDR: Resiliency Building for Clinicians
Clinical Supervision for post-graduates seeking MFT licensure in TN, NV, or VA
I provide clinical supervision for interns, associates, and pre-licensed Marriage and Family Therapists in the states of Tennessee, Nevada, and Virginia. I use a strengths-based approach and incorporate a systems-theory perspective in connection with other major models of therapy. I also integrate practical business skills for those interested in working in private practice.
My purpose as a supervisor is to empower, develop, teach, and guide supervisees into becoming healthy, self-aware mental health professionals. Supervisees can expect to develop clinical skills, professional competencies, and ethical and legal decision-making skills; nurture the self of the therapist within their value system; and actively participate in process-oriented supervision space with a safe and respectful supervisory relationship.
EMDR Consultation
Do you want more confidence, knowledge, and skills in providing EMDR to your clients? I provide consultation specific for therapists offering EMDR, including a one-time consultation for specific case, ongoing consultation, as well as hours towards becoming an EMDR certified therapist.
I am an EMDRIA Certified Therapist and Consultant in Training (CIT), and I offer reduced rates until I achieve full EMDRIA Consultant status. You can be located anywhere in the world to consult with me.
Supplemental EMDR Therapy
EMDR Intensives are short-term, time-limited sessions. Clients often participate in EMDR Intensive sessions while they remain with their regular therapist. EMDR Intensives can be helpful for a recent traumatic event to reduce the risk of PTSD, upcoming performances, medical trauma, stuck or looping intrusion symptoms, and other distressing events or symptoms. With the client’s permission, I work collaboratively with the referring therapist for a comprehensive approach.
